There are many barriers to accessing education in our partner communities related to gender, poverty and the impacts of conflict and the HIV&AIDS epidemic. Children need school fees, uniforms, and books. They need to have food, water, and the security of a loving home to support them in pursuing their educational dreams.
We are working with partners to ensure families can afford school fees and are supplementing school fees when needed.
We are also actively supporting community-led efforts to address gender equality in education and advocating for schools and learning environments conducive to learning success in local contexts.
